Positive Behaviour Policy

At Edenthorpe Hall, our primary aim is for the children to feel valued and respected, and that each person is treated fairly and well. We have a positive school climate underpinned by three core principles:

  1. Ready for learning throughout the school day
  2. Respect for self, each other, all staff and the learning environment
  3. Safe actions and environment where everyone feels safe and secure

Every day, all staff will provide children with consistent language and a consistent response. All staff will take responsibility for behaviour.

In school, we also use the Class Dojo system and reward children with Dojo points for displaying certain behaviours during the school day. At the end of a week, a Dojo Champion is chosen from each class. They receive a special mention in assembly and a certificate! Every Monday, the children’s Dojo points are then reset.
